All KU women students who have successfully completed 12 credit hours of undergraduate course work at KU with a GPA of 3.50 or greater, or nine credit hours of graduate course work at KU with a GPA of 3.60 or greater are eligible to apply for the UWC Scholarship. The University Registrar and Financial Aid and Scholarships office (FAS) must verify academic eligibility.
Scholarship funds may only be used for expenses at the University of Kansas during the academic year following the spring when the recipients are named.
Once the application period begins each January, those interested can find the application form and further information on the Financial Aid and Scholarships (FAS) website.
No member of the University Women’s Club Scholarship Committee or her immediate family is eligible to apply.
The application deadline is February 1 each year at Financial Aid and Scholarships (FAS), KU Visitor Center, 15th and Iowa.
