Malott Room

In 1960 Chancellor Franklin Murphy designated the space in the Kansas Union now known as the Malott Room to be the permanent home of the University Women’s Club. It is not only a meeting place for UWC, but also a place where members of UWC can host private dinners, weddings, teas, lunches, parties and more.
In the summer of 2018, the Malott Room was refurbished.  The Kansas Union partnered with members of the UWC Malott Room Committee to select new chairs and carpeting.  Flower arrangements were refreshed,  and drapes were cleaned and rehung.  The fireplace in the foyer was enhanced in the summer of 2019.
